Overview: Named most improved quarterback for spring practice on the field and in the weightroom; he was one of three players named most improved in both areas...first-team quarterback entering the fall...had an outstanding spring game; he was 14-25 for 147 yards and three scores...was 42-66 for 457 yards and five touchdowns in the three spring scrimmages...had a 63.6 completion percentage and 146.8 passing efficiency in the spring...played just five snaps as a freshman and 75 as a sophomore, so he has been under center for just 80 snaps...has a 68.2 completion percentage, including 70 percent in 2006...named to the academic honor roll for the spring semester of 2007.
