Overview: First-Team Academic All-ACC selection as a marketing major in 2006...on the academic honor roll for both semesters during the 2006-07 academic year, and thus was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for 2006-07...first-team fullback entering fall practice...one of the most improved players on the team in 2006; he never played a down his first two years, then played 162 as a fullback and tight end in 2006...fifth on the team in 225 reps (27)...eighth on the team in the hang clean (350) and ninth in bench press (405)...did not see any action in 2005, as the Tigers were well-stocked with fullbacks Steven Jackson (now with the Carolina Panthers) and Cliff Harrell...played his high school football at nearby Greenville (SC) High...high school teammate of Clemson sophomore offensive tackle Cory Lambert...all-state linebacker as a senior...played well in the spring; he had two receptions for 21 yards in the spring game.

2006: Had four receptions, but two were for touchdowns...had his first career touchdown on a two-yard touchdown catch against Louisiana Tech, then had a six-yard scoring catch against Temple...had a 12-yard reception against N.C. State and seven-yard catch against Florida Atlantic...never rushed the ball, but was a solid blocker...had a strong block on James Davis' winning touchdown at #9 Florida State...credited with 10 knockdown blocks for the season...had two starts, the Georgia Tech game when he played 24 snaps and the South Carolina game when he played eight...had a positive impact on Clemson's 321 rushing yards in the win over the #13 Yellow Jackets; he was a lead blocker for Davis and C.J. Spiller much of that game...played double-digits in snaps in each of the first eight games.

2005: Reserve fullback who did not appear in a game.
