TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Clemson volleyball team defeated Florida State 3-1 (24-30, 30-28, 30-28, 30-26) Saturday night in Tully Gym. The Tigers improve to 16-13 overall and 7-7 in conference play, while Florida State falls to 18-10 and 9-5 in ACC play.

Sophomore Leslie Finn recorded a match-best 20 kills with a .277 hitting percentage. The outside hitter tallied two blocks and two service aces. Junior Marija Zoric led the team at the net with five blocks, and posted 14 kills with a match best .591 hitting percentage and two service aces. Sophomore Lori Ashton also tallied double-digit figures with 13 kills and a .280 hitting percentage, while Ryane Beasley added nine kills and five digs. Senior Jessi Betcher handed out 55 assists with three block assists and two service aces.

Alex Sevillano led Florida State with 22 kills, nine digs and a .262 hitting percentage. Dawn Hough posted 17 kills and a match-best .536 hitting percentage, and Kristin Frye tallied 15 kills, nine digs and a .313 hitting percentage. Jennifer Anderson dished out 63 assists with four digs, and Jennifer Orlowski added eight digs.

The Tigers will play host to Duke and Wake Forest this weekend in Jervey Gym. Clemson will take on the Blue Devils on Friday, Nov. 15, at 7:00 p.m. and will play Demon Deacons on Saturday, Nov. 16. Admission is free to all home matches.
